I believe that we must reform and simplify the complex and burdensome tax code.  I support legislation that would repeal the income tax and other taxes, abolish the Internal Revenue Service, and enact a national sales tax to be administered primarily by the States.  I also support legislation to repeal the individual Alternative Minimum Tax.  I will not support legislation that will raise taxes for hardworking Americans.  Furthermore, I support the Economic Growth Act, legislation that would provide broad, growth-oriented, permanent incentives for economic activity across all sectors and industries, with immediate application and sustained, long-term implications.

The Commonwealth of Virginia has developed a website for citizens, groups, localities, and others to use to share project proposals for potential funding from the expected federal stimulus package.
